Good to know

Questions and answers

Why put everything in one app instead of five specialized ones?
So you only enter things once. A change to your budget updates your savings forecast and grade straight away, and you have one place to look instead of five.
Does MRLN connect to my bank?
No. You type in your own numbers, and MRLN never asks for bank details.
Where is my data stored — the browser or the app?
In the browser, or in the installed app, on your device. Depending on the platform, the installed app may share storage with the browser or keep its own. MRLN doesn't sync between devices, so if your data isn't showing, import your backup.
Can I move my data to a new phone?
Yes. Export a backup file in MRLN, move the file to the new phone and import it there.
Is the assistant private?
Yes. The assistant runs on your device and answers from the numbers you've entered. It doesn't call any outside AI service.
What happens if I stop paying?
When your key runs out, the app locks until you enter a new key. Your entries stay on the device, and the lock screen has an Export my data button, so you can still save everything as a file.
Does it get slower as years of data build up?
MRLN runs locally and doesn't wait for a server. Speed still depends on your device and how much data you keep. Save a backup now and then as your history grows.
What if I lose my phone?
Anything that was only on that phone is gone, because nothing is kept on a server. Export a backup now and then and keep the file somewhere safe. You can import it on a new phone.
Is it just for one person, or can a couple use it?
Either. There's no account, so two people can each use MRLN on their own phone, or share one device. Each access key unlocks the app; how you split things is up to you.
Is the Tax Helper official tax advice?
No. It gives an unofficial estimate for 12 countries to help you plan. It isn't tax advice, so check anything official with a professional.
Are the health features medical advice?
No. The gym, food and weight tools are for general information and tracking, not medical advice. Talk to a professional about your health. MRLN is for ages 16 and up.
How much does it cost?
$9.99 a month or $69 a year. There are no ads, your data is never sold, and you get a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Can I try it before I buy?
There's no free trial. If MRLN isn't for you, email me at Kontaktmrln@gmail.com within 30 days of buying and I'll refund you.
Why pay when there are free budgeting apps?
The price pays for building and running MRLN without ads or tracking. If a free app does what you need, that's a fine choice too.
